Just last night I had a conversation with Becca wherein I expressed my frustration over being unable to find the specific medical information I needed. I concluded by saying, “Oh! I forgot I’m writing in a fantasy world where mutants exist! I’ll just handwave the science with telepathy!” and kept going.
That being said, has anyone broken a limb recently? Do they still tell you not to get your cast wet, or are basically all casts waterproof now? (The first two times I broke something I had to do the whole plastic-bag-sponge-bath thing, but that as over twenty years ago.
