I do this ALL THE TIME. Except I use [[double brackets]]—to aid in ctrl-F’ing them later to make sure I don’t post them—in which I write things like [[AND THEN TECHNOBABBLE ABOUT THE POWER DISC AND SHIT, w/e]]
or [[SOMETHING SOMETHING QUANTUM PARTICLE THAT THING I READ IN THE TIMES SCIENCE SECTION LAST WEEK]]
or [[EXPLAIN THIS SOMEHOW]]
Yep! also [witty banter here] and [some kind of smooth scene transition]
My problem is generally either [something happens] or word choice. There’s a lot of “blah blah blah blah [something?] and blah” because as I’m typing I’ll have the perfect word and once I get to that part of the sentence, the perfect word DISAPPEARS FROM MY BRAIN and I KNOW that it’s out there, better than any other word I can think of, and I’m sure it will eventually come back to me.
(Spoiler alert: it doesn’t.)
